As a multidisciplinary organization, diversity within the Board is of high importance. The Board will endeavor to recruit Board members who will represent the geographic diversity served by Healthy Families, and represent various sectors and skill sets, including, but not limited to, government, industry/business and community.
From time to time, opportunities arise for general and executive board members to replace outgoing members. When vacancies present, any interested member of the public may apply.
We are currently seeking lively, engaged, skilled individuals to become part of a strong, diverse team as a General Board Member.
The Board is comprised of executive members and general members (Directors), who work in collaboration with our multidisciplinary partners to achieve an integrated and effective agency.
Being a member of the Board is a rewarding and meaningful volunteer experience. As the governing body, the Board helps to address the needs of the individuals and families we serve, and the requests of staff, stakeholders, and donors.
