Located in Whitcourt, and designed for rural Alberta, this Hub acts as central referral point for families wanting assistance to build on their strengths and develop strong familial units.

The Network provides a range of free services that focus on strengthening caregiver knowledge, access to community supports and resources, improving child and youth development, and building resiliency and fostering well-being (ages 0 – 18 years).

Our Programs are offered in Whitecourt, Mayerthorpe, Swan Hills, Fox Creek, Valleyview, Lac Ste. Anne County, Onoway, and surrounding areas.

For families with youth aged 7 - 18 yrs

Free, accredited, family-centred, solution-focused counseling and family support for:

  • Parenting Skills

  • Conflicts in Family Relationships

  • Coping with Separation/Divorce/Family Changes

  • Communication

  • Anxiety/Depression

  • Grief and Loss

  • Aggressive Behaviour

  • Adolescent Issues

  • Self-Esteem

HOME Visitation

For families with youth aged 0- 6 yrs

Home Visitors provide one-on-one parenting strategies to

  • Promote positive parent-child relationships;

  • Grow parenting knowledge and skills;

  • Foster healthy pregnancies and child development;

  • Help families identify and access formal and informal supports and services;

  • Assist in the identification and pursuit of family goals

Services are offered by Healthy Families Healthy Futures and The Town of Fox Creek

For families with yourth aged 0 - 18 yrs

Providing opportunities for Caregiver Education and other programming focusing on child development, asset building, parenting, and strengthening family bonds.
